Photos of Desperate Housewives star Eva Longoria-Parker exiting Marvel studios were taken and with the pile of reading material she’s holding, it seems like she’s taking on a challenging new role as a superhero. An Avengers comic book was spotted at the top of her reading stash and rumors of the TV star starring in the next movie installment is flying over the internet.

So, is Eva Longoria ready to be a superhero? Will her savvy latina features do her good in this next career move?

It looks like the rumor is true, Eva Longoria will start shooting Avengers in 2011, around the same time Desperate Housewives will be ending.

Amidst rumors of having contracted Herpes from Derek Jeter and breaking up with Cash Warren (because he wouldn’t make her Mrs. Warren), Jessica Alba seems to be getting back in shape after having the baby.

She was spotted the other day at the local Whole Foods over at West Hollywood.  There she met up with a friend, chatted and then bought some household necessities.

It looks like her wholesome diet is doing wonders for her figure.  Just a few months ago she gave birth to her first baby, Honor Marie, and we all know how hard it is to get back your figure after having one of those.  Her body is already smoking hot, as she was seen wearing a simple black hoodie and gray shirt.  But that’s celebrities for you. If all else, having the baby made her breasts a little bit bigger.

People say that she looked happy and healthy, as she is reportedly going back to work to star in the upcoming “Sin City 2,” and has signed on to take on a role for the another movie titled, Invisible

Mister ego Kanye West was arrested at LAX for vandalism felony on September 11. The rapper/ hip hop mogul was allegedly violent and harsh towards the press people, snatching their cameras and smashing it to the ground breaking it to pieces.

TMZ reports:

“Erik, the TMZ camera guy says he was at Terminal 4 (American Airlines) when he noticed a still photog taking several pictures of Kanye West. Erik says West rushed the photog and grabbed his camera.

A struggle ensued and the still guy was screaming, “Police, help!” Erik says Kanye then took the still camera and threw it on the ground, breaking it into pieces.

Erik then went over to Kanye, his camera rolling, when Kanye’s bodyguard walked up to him, realized Erik was taping, and said, “Give me the camera, give me the camera.” Erik responded that he had a press pass and had a right to shoot. The assistant then grabbed the camera, ripped off the mic and viewfinder and smashed it to the ground.

Erik says Kanye then tried to leave to board his plane, but cops stopped him before he got to security. The cops then interviewed Erik, the still photog, Kanye and his assistant. This is where it gets crazy. The cops asked Erik if he videotaped the incident and Erik said he had. That’s when Kanye lunged toward him and said, “Give me the fu***ng videotape.”

Cops had to restrain Kanye as he tried coming at Erik.”

Both Kanye and his bodyguard will be charged with vandalism and will be held in contempt.

While at an interview to promote his latest film, Is There Anybody There, Michael Caine told MTV news that Johnny Depp and Philip Seymour Hoffman are definitely going to be in the next Batman movie.

“They’ve already got them in mind, it’s Johnny Depp as The Riddler. And The Penguin is Philip Seymour Hoffman. I read it in the paper,” says the actor who played and will still play Alfred, Bruce Wayne’s loyal butler.

The old chap also said that he confirmed with the studio himself when he heard the news.  “I was with [a Warner Bros.] executive and I said, ‘Are we going to make another one?’ They said yeah. I said, ‘How the hell are we going to top Heath [the late “Dark Knight” star Ledger]?’ And he says ‘I’ll tell you how you top Heath — Johnny Depp as The Riddler and Philip Seymour Hoffman as The Penguin.’ I said, ‘S–t, they’ve done it again!’”

Honestly, imagining his British accent somehow makes it all the more credible.

After her disastrous opening performance in last year’s Mtv Video Music Awards, Britney Spears came back with a bang opening this year’s ceremony. Not only that, she also won Best Female Video for her provocative video “Piece of Me”.

Britney wore a silver mini-dress by Versace and looked as young and fresh as ever.  Spears emerged on center stage, clutched the microphone tight, and announced, “I’m here tonight to celebrate a very important birthday.” Continued Spears: “This is the 25th Video Music Awards – and it starts right now.”

With that, the pop star was gone, ceding the stage to a futuristic-looking Rihanna, who turned into her hit “Disturbia” with a goth-themed entourage touting glow sticks and leather.

Moments later, Spears was back to accept the first VMA of the night.
Nominated for 16 Moonmen in the past, the pop star nabbed best female video for her song “Piece of Me.” A grateful Spears gave a brief speech, thanking God for “just blessing me like this,” calling out her two sons and dedicating the award to her fans. “This is for you,” Spears said.

And her fans were everywhere Sunday night. Haley Williams from Paramore saw Spears backstage and was overheard remarking to a bandmate, “Man, Britney looks really pretty.”

Spears later picked up her second award for best pop video, also for “Piece of Me.” “I’m speechless,” chirped the pop star, who offered thanks to manager Larry Rudolf, who accompanied Spears to the show, and her fans.
