We have seen beautiful people with heavy rock and roll tones to die for. Unlike what happens in Hollywood, the gorgeous people in the rock music industry don’t have to deal with so much superficiality that enables them to concentrate on their music, which makes them naturally hot and dreamy. Here’s a short list of Rock and Roll’s hottest men and women:

Shirley Manson. This redhead European vixen wowed the world with her voice and with the unexplained paleness of her skin. Her band, Garbage is one of the most popular and influential bands of the 90’s and her modern/mod-inspired style made her a common name to the beautiful elite of rock and roll.

Julian Casablancas. This European-looking singer of the band The Strokes has many reasons to back-up his gorgeous face and built: His father, John Casablancas, is the founder of Elite Modeling Management and his mother is a Danish supermodel. Not only does he look mighty swell, he sings awfully good too. He looks like a preppy teen lost in the wine cellar. His band, The Strokes has been gaining tons and tons of record sales by the minute and still continues to be one of the greatest contemporary rock acts in the industry.

Fiona Apple. She may seem angry or angsty in her songs, but the soulful songstress’ looks are like those of an edgy supermodels’. Her signature long flowy hair, mid-rib tops, exposed navel ring and loose flannel pants made her such an icon and as a sex symbol of the late 90’s alternative era. This Grammy-winning singers’ looks are just as recognizable as her deep, sultry voice.

Gavin Rossdale. The frontman of the British grunge band Bush and husband of Gwen Stefani is so good-looking, Hollywood is willing to trail off his sleeve just so he’ll star in movies. He has been casted as Balthazar, the major villan character in Keannu Reeve’s film Constantine. His gaze is like a lockdown move that won’t let go of you until you scream for it. Not only is he handsome, he’s also faithful as a disciple when it comes to women. In an interview, he said that Gwen is “the only love of his life” when they still had no kids. No wonder Gwen Stefani is all smiles everytime she’s seen with him.

Melissa Auf Der Maur. Not only did she manage to play bass in 2 of the most influential rock bands in the 90’s Hole and Smashing Pumpkins, she also has some nice looking features to pace-up her skills. Her curly red hair and skimpy clothing makes her sway and seem like a rock and roll fairy onstage. She lauched her solo career in early 2000 with the single “Follow the Waves”

His deep blue eyes and long blonde hair quickly gave him a VIP pass to every girl’s fantasy back then. His band Silverchair made three albums that soared the sales chart with flying colors. When he became a little bit older, he had developed an eating disorder Anorexia Nervosa, and struggled for his health. If that isn’t enough, he also developed a rare and severe case of Athritis. The physical pain didn’t stop the musician from making music. He was married and recently divorced to singer Natalie Imbruglia and all his sickness left his system once he foud love in her. Silverchair’s latest album, Young Modern, gives us a taste of what it’s like to act real in the world they’re living in.
