The Worst Dressed at the 2008 Emmy’s
Awards ceremonies are like buffets for fashion critics. Dozens of stars parade themselves on red carpets under the glorifying or condescending eye of “those who can’t strut and so criticize.” It was no different at this year’s Emmy’s. Some actors/actresses were seen either as sights to behold or downright fashion victims.
It’s no fun covering those who looked good, so here’s a list of the worst dressed (thanks to stylehive.com for the pictures):
Kathy Griffin: That Brown ribbon-whatever-it-is kind of ruined her whole dress. Maybe she really takes her “Life on the D-List” to heart.
Jenna Fischer: People say it’s “The Office goes to prom,” while others mention the horrid, mermaid-esque choice of colors.
Tina Fey: She might won three awards that night, but, sometimes, you can’t win them all. Her dress fitted her in all the wrong places.
Eva Longoria-Parker: “Pregnant or not, the dress was awful. From a questionable hairstyle to some layered fringing that poorly masked a baby bump (there, we said it!), this above the knee ensemble certainly made us feel desperate - desperately unhappy.” –Stylist.com
Mary Murphy: “So You Think You Can Dance” judge was “completely devoid of shape” in her unflaterring attire.
